Родился 13 января 1960 года в Лейпциге, ГДР.
Сценарист, режиссер.
В 1982 окончил факультет звукооператоров ЛИКИ (Ленинград).
После службы в СА работал асс. звукорежиссера на к/ст «Ленфильм», затем асс. режиссера на фильмах «Клим Самгин», «Без мундира», «Штаны». Работал в Объединении А.Германа.
Пишет прозу. Автор повестей: «До-бемоль минор», «Австрийское поле» (приложение к альманаху «Петрополь», 1994).
