That day a thought ran through his mind that he wouldn’t be able to stay young anymore. He wished everything to be different. He wanted the portrait to age not him. He would give anything to stay as he was in the picture - even his soul. The devil heard his words and complied with his request. Dorian began to lead a life full of secrets and vice always remaining fresh and pure. Only the picture was changing, having become a reflection of hidden Dorian crimes.
