The plot is based on the famous poem by Taras Shevchenko "Kateryna". An ordinary girl Katerina lives in the village of Shulyky. Suddenly, a film crew arrives here, along with the popular actor Alexei Krasilnikov. Katerina falls in love with Alexei and events rapidly gain momentum. Everyone's life changes rapidly: the girl becomes pregnant and tries her best to escape from the village to find her lover. Of course, there will be more than one test on her way, the girl will have to become stronger, change and learn to accept life as it is. But will she be able to get what she wants?
