Родился 29 июня 1974 года в Москве.
В 1991 году закончил музыкальную школу при Консерватории по специальности "Гобой". Продолжил обучение в Консерватории по классу гобоя.
В 1995-1999 гг. учился в РАТИ на актерско-режиссерском факультете (курс М. Захарова).
Дебют С.Фролова в Ленкоме - роль в спектакле "Жестокие игры".
