Родился 24 марта 1932 года в городе Новая Ушица, Украинская ССР.Окончил Киевский театральный институт имени И.К. Карпенко-Карого (1961). В 1961-1966 и с 1971 года — актёр Киевской киностудии имени А.П. Довженко, в 1966-1971 годах — актёр театра Группы Советских войск в Германии.
Заслуженный артист Украины (2002).
Ушёл из жизни 20 сентября 2006 года в Киеве.
