В 1976 году окончил Киевский институт театрального искусства им. И. К. Карпенко-Карого (ныне Киевский национальный университет театра, кино и телевидения им. И. К. Карпенко-Карого), курс засл. деятеля искусств Украины Л. А. Олейника.

Работал в Могилёвском областном драматическом театре, Львовском театре юного зрителя им. Максима Горького, Львовском духовном театре «Воскресіння», Киевском экспериментальном театре.

В Театре драмы и комедии на левом берегу Днепра работает с 2004 года.
