Родилась 13 июля 1922 года в городе Наволоки Ивановской области.Окончила актёрский факультет Всесоюзного государственного института кинематографии (1943, мастерская Г.Л. Рошаля).С 1940 года — снималась на студии "Союздетфильм".В 1945-1991 годах — актриса Театра-студии киноактёра.В 1949-1952 годах — актриса в труппе Драмтеатра советских войск в Германии.

Одна из самых снимающихся актрис советского и постсоветского кино, озвучила около трёхсот мультфильмов. Мастер эпизодических ролей.
