Родился 18 сентября 1959 года на Украине, в городе Калуш Ивано-Франковской области.
Отец - инженер-строитель. Жил в Соликамске, Перми, Запорожье, Ровно. Школу закончил (9-10 кл.) в Калуше.
В 1980 году окончил Киевский театральный институт им. Карпенко-Карого (мастерская Б.П.Ставицкого).
Сниматься в кино начал в 1980 году. Были сьемки в студенческий период.
Живет и работает в Киеве, играет в Молодежном театре.
