Родился 5 октября 1955 года в Киеве.
В 1978 году окончил Киевский государственный институт театрального искусства им.И.Карпенко-Карого. С 1979 по 1997 год работал в Театре-студии киноактера Киевской киностудии им.А.П.Довженко.
Живет в США.
