Родилась 9 августа 1985, Дублин, Ирландия — британская актриса кино и телевидения.
Она – младшая из 4 сестер. Она с самого раннего детства хотела играть на сцене. В 16 лет Джемма окончила школу Лорето в Сент-Стивенсе и переехала в Лондон, чтобы поступить в школу обучения искусству ArtsEd.
Первым спектаклем с участием Деверё стала драма «Мечтатели Инишдары» в театре «Джермин-стрит».
