Обучался в Пекинской Академии современной музыки. В 2014 году он дебютировал в составе китайского бойз-бенда Fresh Teenager Geek. В 2016 году покинул коллектив, чтобы продолжить сольную карьеру.

Хоу дебютировал на экране в 2016 году в спортивной комедии «Веселый футбол» (Xiao lin zu qiu).
