Гэбриел Бассо также появился в независимой картине «Мун из Алабамы» (Alabama Moon), главной премьере кинофестиваля Сандэнс «Короли лета» (The Kings of Summer) и был номинирован на премию BAFTA в категории «Лучшая роль второго плана» за участие в экшене «Супер 8» (Super 8).
