Его семья переехала обратно в Иран, когда ему было пять лет. Окончил университет Азад металлургической инженерии в Карадже.
Карьеру в кино Пейман Моаади начал в качестве сценариста, дебютировав фильмом "Avaz-e ghoo" (2000).
