Родился 18 июня 1959 года в городе Татарске Новосибирской области. В 1982 году окончил актерский факультет Дальневосточного педагогического института искусств (курс Г.К. Рогова). До 1985 года работал в Сызранском драматическом театре, с 1985 года - в труппе театра ЛЕНКОМ.
