Родился 2 апреля 1958 года в Одессе.
Сразу после школы работал в кукольном театре, затем поехал учиться в Москву.В 1987 году окончил ГИТИС им. Луначарского.
После окончания ГИТИСа ему предложили остаться в Московской оперетте, но актер решил вернуться в Одессу и продолжил свой творческий путь в Одесском театре музыкальной комедии им. М.Водяного.
