Родился 8 ноября 1948 года в Полоцке.Заслуженный артист Республики Беларусь.
В 1968 году окончил Полоцкий нефтяной техникум, механическое отделение. В 1973 году окончил актерско-режиссерский факультет ВГИКа (мастерская профессора И.В.Таланкина, белорусский набор).
С 1973 года работает на киностудии "Беларусьфильм".С 1981 года - актер Минского Театра-студии киноактера.
