Родился 13 февраля 1919 года.Учился в Ленинградском театральном институте имени А.Н. Островского (1940-1941, 1945-1947). С 1947 года — актёр различных театров Ленинграда и других городов;В 1951-1956 годах — актёр Ленинградского театра Ленинского комсомола;1956-1957 — Ленинградского академического театра драмы имени А.С. Пушкина.
Ушёл из жизни 19 июня 1982 года.
