Родился 21 июля 1931 года в Гасанкули, Туркмения.В 1949-1956 годах служил в армии. Учился на сценарном факультете ВГИКа, окончил Высшие сценарные курсы в Москве (1964).С 1957 года работал на Одесской киностудии (пиротехник, ассистент режиссёра), затем — на Львовском телевидении.
Ушёл из жизни 24 июня 1987 года в Одессе.
