Родилась 18 сентября 1975, Белфаст, Великобритания — ирландская актриса кино и театра.
Будучи ученицей шестого класса колледжа, Тара приняла решение стать актрисой.
В 19 лет Тара впервые появилась на сцене Большого оперного театра в Белфасте – в постановке мюзикла «Grease».
Дебют Тары в кино состоялся в 1997 году, когда ей было 22 года.
