Учился в Tufts University. За свою писательскую деятельность ему довелось работать над самыми разными проектами.

Совместно с актрисой, писательницей и режиссером Амбер Бенсон он спродюссировал и написал сценарий к проекту канала Би-Би-Си — «Ghosts of Albion», мультипликационной драме о сверхъестественных явлениях. Этот опыт помог ему и в создании его собственных произведений.
