Henry Barth is a teacher substitute, which gets another temporary assignment. This time he has to teach English language and literature at a "dysfunctional" school, where swearing and insults against teachers are usual. A story about a short period in the life of the school is accompanied by a kind of interviews in which Bart talks about ingratitude and lack of understanding which teachers have to face in everyday life.
