The film tells the story of a Ukrainian woman who lived under occupation for ten years. After a sudden attack by the Russian Volunteer Corps, Marharyta and her son try to evacuate to Russia. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, they end up in Uzhhorod. There, Marharyta is confronted with a reality that is radically different from her perceptions, shaped by propaganda.
