The story unfolds in the small resort town of Chornomorsk, in the Odesa region. It would seem that nothing could disturb the peaceful life of this warm region. But things are not quite so idyllic. Poachers are often active in the waters, and sea robbers and smugglers make their presence felt. Not to mention the speedboats that disturb the holidaymakers’ peace on a daily basis. Three members of the marine patrol – the conscientious but hot-headed Captain Kepa, the erudite and good-natured Lieutenant Egorka, and Sergeant Serzhik, an expressive and witty Odessa native – will join forces to protect locals and tourists from criminals and restore order on land.
