Episode 316+

The story is set in a small mining town in central Sweden. Veronika Gren, a police officer, lives there with her family. Since childhood, the protagonist has suffered from visions. However, she manages to suppress them by taking the pills prescribed by her doctor. Yet, from time to time, they trigger nightmares and mental distress. One day, she sees a dead boy named Oscar in the river. Veronika is almost certain that this is just another hallucination. She soon realises that the victims of unsolved crimes are coming to her. They are seeking justice, and her past may help her identify the criminal who is still at large.
