The story revolves around twin sisters — Katia and Irina — whose paths diverged in their youth. Many years later, their paths cross once more, but this reunion marks the beginning of a dangerous tale. Following an unexpected turn of events, one of the sisters gets the chance to take the other’s place. At first, it seems like an opportunity to start a new life, but soon circumstances spiral out of control. This substitution sparks arguments, jealousy, forbidden feelings and a struggle to reclaim their own lives.
