The film is based on the novel by Elmore Leonard. The heroine Jackie Brown works as a flight attendant and earns by cash smuggling into the country for an arms dealer. Everything is going fine until she gets arrested by federal agents. She can be freed only if she informs against the merchant. The risky girl decides to both take half-million dollars and get rid of the arms dealer. But will she remain alive after that?
