The series is based on the social comedy of the same name by the classic of Ukrainian literature Ivan Karpenko-Kary and presents a special look at the eternal conflict - the relationship between parents and children. The project explores the theme of the struggle for justice, universal and personal moral values. After returning home from studying at Harvard, the daughter of the owner of the agricultural holding Terenty Puzyry tries to understand the methods of work of her famous and influential father and discovers a lot of unpleasant things for herself. Raised in love and respect for her parents, Sonya does not immediately dare to go against her father's interests. But in the end she enters into open confrontation with him and will fight for justice.
