Michael Myers is a disturbed young boy. One Halloween he murders his older sister Judith (Hanna R. Hall), her boyfriend Steve (Adam Wiseman) and his mother's abusive partner Ronnie (William Forsythe). He is committed to a sanitarium for seventeen years when he escapes and returns to Haddonfield on Halloween. A new generation of teenagers are soon hunted by the deranged killer.
