In Verona, on the wall of "Juliet’s house" lovers attach letters in which they ask Juliet some advice. And there is a group of women who call themselves "secretaries of Juliet" that respond to these letters. An American girl Sophie who dreams of becoming a writer came with her fiance to Verona. Intrigued by this pious occupation and accidentially finding a brick fallen off a letter pledged back in 1957 by a Englishwoman Claire for an Italian Lorenzo Bartollini, Sophie decided to answer it and maybe help Claire find all Lorenzo Bartollini in the center of Siena, and to put the description of this adventure to the basis of her novel.
