A romantic drama takes place in New York on Summer 2001.
Tyler’s family (Robert Pattison) falls apart after the death of his elder brother. His parents divorced and his father is always busy and has no time for his son. Mother with stepfather lost all contacts with him long time ago. The only dear thing to him is his younger sister - a touching and picturesque girl, who differs from her peers and being bullied by them.
In a try to numb the pain, Tyler runs into trouble one after another, and receives from people around only aggression and misunderstanding. He can’t decide what he wants from life and just lives it up. After another boozy night he gets into a street fight and being taken to the police station.
Influential father releases him from jail but the case is not closed. Tyler’s friend learns that the daughter of a police officer studies an the same university and persuades Tyler to pitch a woo with her so that she effect on her father.
Tyler agrees and his life changes…
