II century AD. Young centurion Marcus Aquila arrives from Rome to the British Isles, and goes into the mountains of Scotland in search of the legendary Ninth Legion under the command of his father that went missing 20 years ago. Wild tribes and unpredictable danger stand in the way of the hero, but he has to find a trace of Roman soldiers and rescue the main symbol of the legion – Eagle of the Nine.
