Nika has been raised in the orphanage and dreamt to become an actress. Wishing to fulfill the dream, the girl arrives in Kyiv to enter the acting school. Unfortunately, the circumstances are such that Nika fails the entrance exams, and under the impulse of despair, she rushes under the car that is driven by the forgotten director Yaroslavsky. A man saves Nika, and soon the strong feelings appear between the heroes. Happy Yaroslavsky is in a hurry to introduce his future bride to his son Ivan, not even suspecting that they are already familiar and have deep feelings for each other.
