The Soviet soldiers have to deliver secret cargo to the airfield, but they are followed by the German executioners. Along the way, the heroes encounter a squad of Polizei, who are rampaging through the village. The commander orders them to move on, but the intrepid Roman tries to protect the villagers, and for this, he faces a court martial.
